This week has been difficult for everyone in our global community. The Jewish Experience team, including our Sunday Experience and our Olami divisions, all came together to unite and support our Brothers and Sisters in Israel. Here is a look at this week, in pictures.
Last Shabbos, our Olami Denver team joined together for an Israel Solidarity Shabbos Dinner. The evening was catered by Chef Uri Tamor. Here is a quick snap of the crew hard at work before sunset last week. That evening, the Olami family set out an optional donation for Israel – and Chef Tamor helped arrange to bring that money directly to a family in need in Israel. More than $2600 was raised that evening.
Our Sunday Experience kids also wanted to help. On Sunday, they decorated cards and filled a huge suitcase full of needed supplies. It was taken directly to the airport by one of our Olami participants, Josh Rubin, who flew to Israel to volunteer for the War effort. He brought this suitcase directly to the base.

This week, responding to the needs of the community, Rabbi Jacob Freedman, a renowned psychiatrist from Israel, hosted a video conference on Mental Health in Times of War.
