This is my mother in laws- Cindy Wolfe’s- Recipe

I double this for each 9×13 pan and literally make at least 8 pans of this every year.  It’s the first cooking I do before Pesach every year is make a ton and fill the freezer.  This is a staple and my husband laughs at the idea of me making something different.  They are the best.  

Sometimes it’s fun to make new recipes, but even better are the staples you know are great and everyone looks forward to.  This recipes has become part of our family tradition!!

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup cocoa                      
  • 1 cup sugar
  • ½ c up oil                           
  • ½ cup sifted cake meal
  • ¼ tsp. salt                          
  • ½ cup chocolate chips
  • 2 eggs

Directions

  1. Beat eggs and sugar together
  2. Blend in cocoa, oil and salt
  3. Mix in cake meal, chips (nuts optional)
  4. Bake in a lightly greased pan at 325 degrees for 25 minutes.
