JewPro is dedicated to building a community of Young Jewish Professionals in their 20s and 30s. With classes, social activities, meals and more, it’s a great way to make meaningful Jewish connections.
From our daily Live@5 with Rabbi Leban to weekly Lunch-and-Learn opportunities, we have myriad ways for adults of all ages to learn and engage in the beauty of Judaism. We can even customize a class for you.

Karen Schweitzer, Director, Sunday Experience: [email protected]
Karen was born and raised in Santiago, Chile. After high school she moved to Jerusalem, Israel to complete her education. For over 16 years Karen has devoted her working life as an educator in the Jewish community. She continues to work as a special educator in Hillel Academy’s Keshet program and was previously the director of the Aish Denver Sunday School. Karen also tutors students and teachers in Hebrew reading techniques in various U.S. Jewish communities. In addition to her working schedule, Karen is inspired by her roles as wife and mother of five children and a new son-in-law. She lives in the southeast side of Denver with her husband and children. They love to visit the mountains for hiking and sightseeing.

Rabbi Danny Wolfe, Young Professionals Program Director: [email protected]
Danny Wolfe, a native Bronco-loving Denverite, along with his wife Sara and 6 children, moved back to Denver in 2015. He is the Co-Director of JewPro, the Young Professional Division of The Jewish Experience. In 2008, with his degree in Politics and Near Eastern and Judaic Studies from Brandeis University in tow, he and his wife moved to Manhattan, where he went on to get his Rabbinical Ordination from Yeshiva University. After having spent two years in Jerusalem, the Wolfe’s moved to Albany in 2012, where they worked as a Campus Outreach couple for Aish New York. When he is not busy working on JewPro related projects, he can also be found watching reruns of the glorious Denver Broncos Superbowl seasons, and making life-changing TikTok videos.

Sara Wolfe, a native Cleveland girl, spent time on the east coast and in Israel as she earned a BA in graphic design and began building her family with her high school sweetheart. She is now in Denver with Danny and their 6 kids. Sara is living her passion of building meaningful connections with Jews from all backgrounds and bringing them together through tradition and the ancient wisdom of the Torah. Sara spends her time teaching one on one and small groups. In between learning she can be found cooking, organizing, making art, and running around with the kids.

Born and raised in Denver, and in fact a third-generation Denverite, Ellyn has been involved with the Jewish Experience for more than a decade as one of our Senior Educators. She devotes her time and is dedicated to sharing her love of Torah and Judaism with the women who come to her classes, journey with her to Israel, or who seek spiritual connection. As an extension of her passion for appreciating and capturing the Creator’s creation, Ellyn enjoys macro floral photography (and sometimes photographing a beautiful tray of challahs just out of the oven).

Chaya Parkoff, LCSW has spent her entire adult life teaching and inspiring adults. She is a Senior Educator for The Jewish Experience where she teaches a weekly class for women via Zoom on the Jewish formula for emotional wellbeing. Chaya’s down to earth nature and zest for life makes her classes very engaging and enjoyable. Chaya runs her own firm, First Class Aging Counseling & Consulting helping older adults and their families navigate the aging process with dignity and joy. In February 2020 Chaya donated a kidney to a stranger who she now regards as family. Chaya has been married to her husband Seth for almost 30 years and they have 5 children ranging in ages 15-26.
